The golden forest is in full bloom — walk the Mini Great Wall to admire ginkgo trees and sea of clouds

The brilliant yellow scenery, bathed in sunlight, is breathtakingly beautiful, as if you’ve stepped into a romantic overseas destination. Located around the Dasha and Wuxiu Farm areas in Lugu, Nantou, this is a popular spot for watching sunrises and sea of clouds. When the ginkgo trees turn golden, the view becomes extraordinarily romantic.

This newly completed ginkgo trail resembles a mini version of the Great Wall pathway. Strolling along it, you can take in vast tea plantation views, ginkgo forests, and the beauty of rolling sea of clouds. The ginkgo trail facilities include a 325-meter-long walkway, two rest platforms, and a 92-meter connecting path. Aside from enjoying the scenery, visitors can also visit the tea plantation for tea tasting and soak in the expansive mountain views, making it a new hot attraction.
