French bakery Gontran Cherrier (hereinafter referred to as GC) has made its way to Taiwan, with its first flagship store opening in Taipei’s East District. Nine months later, GC’s No. 2 store will officially debut on April 15 at B1 of Mega City Banqiao Daiyamondo, and to celebrate Mother’s Day, they are launching a limited-edition cake called “Paris Rose.”

The GC No. 2 Store at Banqiao Big City Daiyamondo offers a wide range of items, including croissants, baguettes, room-temperature desserts, refrigerated desserts, and more... Unlike its pop-up stores, GC has equipped this permanent location with dedicated ovens and dough proofers to ensure higher quality. Croissants will be freshly baked in six time slots throughout the day, offering warm, buttery treats straight from the oven.

To celebrate the opening of the Big City Daiyamondo store, from April 15 to April 24, customers who spend NT$300 or more in a single transaction at the Banqiao Big City Daiyamondo store will receive an immediate 10% discount. In addition, to welcome the upcoming Mother’s Day, GC has introduced a 6-inch cake called “Paris Rose,” priced at NT$860. It features a strawberry chiffon cake layered with a lychee and rose filling, coated with raspberry whipped cream on the outside.
