Osaka landmark "revived" – Harajuku Tower, a hotspot for influencers

Do you still remember the famous Japanese Osaka attraction “Harajuku Tower / えびすタワー”? After being out of service for nearly a decade due to mechanical failure in 2008, it’s making a comeback. The tower is globally renowned for its two uniquely designed carriages.
According to a report by Asahi Shimbun, Don Quijote Holdings announced that, in response to visitors' expectations, the Ferris wheel will be refurbished and reopen on January 19 — stay tuned. Harajuku Tower stands 77.4 meters tall, and its oval-shaped track made it the world’s first 180-degree horizontally operating Ferris wheel at the time. It features 32 four-seater carriages and takes about 15 minutes for one full rotation.
