Mount Fuji’s Twin “Mount Yotei” & Electric Bike Tour Around Mt. Yotei

Hokkaido’s Mount Yotei looks almost like a twin of Japan’s iconic Mount Fuji. Known as “Ezo Fuji,” visiting Mount Yotei is an absolute must when traveling in Hokkaido. The area now offers electric bike tours that allow you to effortlessly enjoy the mountain’s beauty. With professional guides leading the way and nearly no traffic on the route, you can complete a full loop in just 30 minutes.

“The best part of cycling tours is that you can stop anytime you want, and with an electric bike, you don’t even have to pedal hard. It only takes 30 minutes to circle around Mt. Yotei,” said Hiro, the tour guide with a smile. Most young travelers love this cycling exploration style. There are almost no regular cars along the route, but you’ll get to enjoy Hokkaido’s autumn foliage and the views of Mt. Yotei — a very relaxing and comfortable experience.

Along the way, you’ll pass by B.C.C WHITE ROCK, a building with a rather adorable design that’s a small shop specializing in light meals and coffee. They sell their own freshly baked bread. Travelers from various countries visit daily. When tired, they stop by B.C.C WHITE ROCK to eat and recharge before continuing their journey. Hiro said that riding an electric bike while admiring the scenery, taking photos, and then enjoying a cup of coffee is a relaxing way to spend half a day — a tour style that’s very popular among visitors.
