This pansy hot pot shop has been open for over a year and has gained some recognition in Minsheng Community. Affordable hot pots start at just over 300 NT$, and if you’re looking for higher-quality ingredients—such as boneless beef short ribs, Australian wagyu, or king crab pots—they are all available. In addition to the main pot, diners can choose one out of five appetizers (handmade fish paste, crab salad, high-fiber coconut jelly, octopus tofu, black bean tofu); one out of six main sides (udon, instant noodles, rice, thin wheat vermicelli, Wenzhou rice cakes, Meinong rice rolls), and one out of six soups (tomato and egg drop soup, miso soup, corn soup, mushroom soup, pork rib soup, or clear soup). However, there are no free refills. The side dishes contain as few processed foods as possible, as the shop aims for a health-focused menu.

The drink selection boasts nearly 90 varieties, ranging from signature iced teas, hot teas, iced coffee, hot coffee, and sparkling drinks, to a variety of slushies, juices, and freshly squeezed fruit juices. The owner’s top recommendations are kiwi juice and papaya milk—drinks that would normally cost several dozen NT$ at other places, but here you can enjoy them for free. The owner revealed that this ordering style is similar to the set-menu concept found in Western restaurants. “If we only offered a single appetizer, it would feel too plain, so we wanted to provide more options. But we will also rotate items over time, hoping to introduce new menu choices for customers.” When it comes to the side dishes, the shop minimizes processed foods because they aim to follow a health-conscious approach.

This Wanli Crab Hot Pot is actually a limited-time seasonal dish, available only from Mid-Autumn Festival to Chinese New Year. After the holidays, it becomes hard to find. It still comes with an abundance of seafood, including flower crabs, three-spot crabs, sea bream, clams, squid, scallops, mussels, and more. It also includes tofu, dried tofu, lily bulbs, shiitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, and bamboo shoots, making it an incredibly flavorful combination.
