Ah Xi, the popular online babe who rose to fame with her hilarious short videos based on her girlfriend's catchphrases, has just released her latest video, "The Girlfriend's Catchphrase: Side Story – A Flower-Viewing Day Trip." Recently published online, the video was shot on-site at the main venue of the Puli Flower Festival in Nantou as part of the Nantou Flower Carnival. It features various comedic scenarios that couples might encounter while going on a flower-viewing outing together.

When Ah Xi’s boyfriend in the video invites her for a flower-viewing trip in Nantou, she initially mishears "flower viewing" as "step aside," triggering a series of funny reactions. Having traveled to Nantou well before the opening of the Nantou Flower Carnival to film the short video, Ah Xi plays the role of an overly demanding yet hilarious girlfriend who doesn’t care about her image — voicing many thoughts boyfriends often have but don’t dare to say.

Situations like girlfriends making unreasonable demands during trips, or getting upset over photos not turning out as expected, are common challenges boyfriends face and often can't handle. Ah Xi said that flower viewing is one of the top date options for couples because girls can take endless photos with beautiful flower fields, and seeing vibrant blooms naturally lifts their mood.

Since its opening in mid-December, the Nantou Flower Carnival has attracted over 100,000 visitors. The vast expanse of colorful blooms and unique floral exhibitions make it an ideal destination for couples. In addition, during the New Year holiday, Nantou hosts the country’s highest-altitude New Year’s Eve countdown party at Cingjing Farm. Spend the day admiring flowers in Puli and head to Cingjing for an alpine countdown — a double treat in one trip. Visitors spending time in Nantou during the flower carnival can also exchange receipts for raffle tickets to win major prizes like cars, TVs, and smartphones.
