Booking flights during the Spring Festival – Airlines offer up to 40% off

To celebrate the Year of the Dragon and welcome the New Year in high spirits, airlines have launched various themed promotional routes under the campaign “Spring Festival Flights Stay Open – Early Birds Welcome Spring,” as well as a Taichung-departure special “Experience Colorful Macau.” These deals also benefit travelers from northern, central, and southern Taiwan planning post-holiday trips, with minimum prices starting as low as 60% of China Airlines’ regular website fares.

China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines have jointly launched the “Celebrating 53 Years” promotion, which has been well received by travelers. For the Spring Festival period, they have designed an early-bird ticket promotion for five major travel-themed routes. From now until 8:00 AM on February 18 (the ninth day of the Lunar New Year), super-discounted tickets for specific flights on Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, Mainland China, Europe, and U.S. routes after February 20 will be available for sale on the China Airlines website.

The website remains open throughout the 9-day Spring Festival holiday, allowing the public to slowly browse and select post-holiday travel itineraries based on their needs. These include: the “Island Spring Mobilization” section – enjoy the blue sky, sea, beaches, and a laid-back seaside vibe, such as Sanya on the mainland starting at NT$6,588; the “Love You 13 Romantic Valentine’s Day” section – decide on your next White Valentine’s romance during the Valentine’s holiday, such as Fukuoka, Japan starting at NT$6,399; the “Fashion Capital Shopping Spree” section – go on a crazy shopping spree until your legs give out, such as Hong Kong starting at NT$4,588; the “China Leisure Tour” section – explore ancient capitals and immerse yourself in Chinese cultural heritage, such as Xiamen starting at NT$4,788; the “Kaohsiung Blessings” section – offering travelers from southern Taiwan all early-bird discounts on flights departing from southern Taiwan, such as Kaohsiung–Xiamen starting at NT$4,500; and a Macau route promotion from Taichung with tickets starting at NT$6,000.
