Ichiran Ramen has been in Taiwan for half a year now. When it first opened, it attracted huge crowds and sparked plenty of discussion. Has the hype died down after six months? Actually, Ichiran Ramen, which operates 24 hours a day, is still quite busy—outside of the 6 AM to 10 AM window, you’ll usually have to wait 30 minutes to an hour and a half during regular meal times, and even up to two hours during peak holiday periods.

World Food Hub
Located on Guisui Street in Taipei’s Datong District, the World Food Hub is a 24-hour eatery offering a vast array of dishes—from breakfast options like sandwiches, turnip cakes, soy milk, and youtiao, to fried rice, fried noodles, congee, and dumplings. With over a hundred items on the menu, hungry customers looking for anything and everything might find themselves overwhelmed by choice and tempted to order the whole table worth.

Honey Pig, which originated in the U.S. and has since spread worldwide, is known for its massive grill loaded with all kinds of meat—super tender Korean-style thick bone beef, pork collar, bone-in pork chops, kimchi, and pancakes—all cooked on the grill. The design allows excess oil to drip down, so you don’t have to worry about consuming too much fat late at night. Staff will cut your meat and veggies for you, but if you’d like to try it yourself, go ahead—it’s part of the fun.

Jingxing Hong Kong-Style Dim Sum
In the Dongcheng area, 24-hour Jingxing Hong Kong-Style Dim Sum is a go-to spot for night owls to fill up—whether it’s breakfast, afternoon tea, or a late-night bite, it satisfies the hunger of Dongcheng’s day and night crowds. There are two locations in Dongcheng: Part 1 upstairs from Shuncheng Cake Shop on Section 1, Nanjing East Road, and Part 2 next to Shonwang Hotel, both open 24 hours.

N.Y.BAGELS CAFE
N.Y. Bagels, which opened in 1998, is Taiwan’s first bagel specialty shop. It uses imported New York-style bagels and bakes them in professional ovens, introducing American brunch culture and helping popularize all-day brunch in Taiwan. With a total of six branches around the country, most are in Taipei. Currently, the Ren’ai branch is open 24 hours, while the Xinyi branch is only open all day on Saturdays—which happens to include December 31st, making it a 24-hour spot that night as well.

Kool Caffè Da’an Branch
Located at the prominent triangular corner where Taipei’s Civic Boulevard meets Da’an Road, this eye-catching store features an extravagant court-style interior with pink-green tones, accented by gold trim and window patterns. It is a quaint spot that blends European Renaissance and classic Italian café styles. From coffee beans and tea leaves to tableware, everything is carefully selected, yet the prices are very affordable, allowing customers to enjoy meals in this beautiful space with ease.

Gold Mine Coffee – Taipei Zhongxiao Branch (Company-operated)
Operated by Tsann Kuen, Gold Mine Coffee’s Zhongxiao Branch in Taipei is a company-operated store and one of the few that operates 24 hours. In addition to coffee, the shop offers a wide variety of Western pastries, with over 100 types of bread and cakes. In September, it also collaborated with the renowned Japanese Kobe shop “Impression” to bring in technical guidance from Chef Yoshiki, launching eight varieties of Japanese-style artisan cakes across all Taiwan branches.

Panos cafe
Being open 24 hours is the biggest highlight of Panos Café. You can still grab a coffee even late at night. With 400 locations across Europe, Panos is a chain under a Belgian catering group and currently has five branches in Taiwan. The store’s signature items include handmade bread made from directly imported Belgian ingredients and baked on-site. They serve breakfast, brunch, pasta, and Belgian waffles, along with imported Belgian beers.

Jianhong Beef Noodles
Most beef noodle shops on Luoyang Street in Wanhua District moved from Zhengzhou Street, including Jianhong Beef Noodles, Fuhong Beef Noodles (originally Jianhong, now run by the owner’s brother), Lao Liu Beef Noodles, Xiao Wu Beef Noodles, and Longcheng Sichuan-style Beef Noodles. Among these five shops, Jianhong, Fuhong, and Xiao Wu are currently open 24 hours. A staff member at Fuhong Beef Noodles also revealed that they have been open 24 hours since moving to Luoyang Street, attracting many drivers, workers, and young people from Ximending.
