Direct Hawaiian flights by China Airlines starting June 2 & package deals discounted by NT$4,000

To meet market demand and provide more convenient services, China Airlines will increase its weekly flights to Hawaii from seven to nine starting June 2, including two non-stop services that save about two hours compared to those with a Tokyo layover. Operated by Airbus A330 aircraft, China Airlines is the only carrier offering direct flights from Taiwan to Hawaii. Additionally, the airline’s summer schedule will add more flights to Bangkok (Thailand), Nanchang (China), Fukuoka (Japan), and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), providing travelers with premium service and more flexible flight options.

China Airlines currently operates seven weekly round-trip flights between Taoyuan and Hawaii via Tokyo (CI018/CI017). In view of the benefits of the U.S. visa waiver program and to tap into the Southeast Asian transit passenger market, the airline has added two new non-stop weekly flights (CI002/CI001) between Taoyuan and Hawaii, bringing the total number of weekly flights to Hawaii to nine and making travel to Hawaii faster and more convenient.

To celebrate the launch of China Airlines’ non-stop Hawaii flights, special promotional fares starting from NT$31,200 are available for departures before June 20. Premium travel packages are also offering a NT$4,000 discount for trips departing between June 1 and June 20, plus a complimentary crystal photo frame. Major travel agencies have also jointly launched group promotions: for the first five direct flights between June 2 and June 16, group travelers can enjoy either a 50% discount for the second person or a free ticket for the third person.
