Warming the Vulnerable: Grand Formosa Regent’s Charity Hot Pot Gift Set Sale

The Grand Formosa Regent Hotel launched a charity gift set sale titled “Gather ‘Round the Hot Pot, Share the Warmth,” donating 100 sets of premium hot pot New Year’s Eve meals to 100 disadvantaged families supported by the YMCA.

As the year draws to a close, the Grand Formosa Regent Hotel in Taichung, in collaboration with YMCA volunteers, held the “Gather ‘Round the Hot Pot, Share the Warmth” charity gift set sale. In addition to selling limited-edition 20% off vouchers for the Yǐng Hot Pot Restaurant, the hotel also donated 100 hot pot meal sets to single-parent families supported by the YMCA, aiming to spread warmth to vulnerable households through a cycle of love. A grand donation press conference was held on the 25th, with celebrity dad Hu Ba from the Taipei Flower Expo also making an appearance to support the sale.

To celebrate its 21st anniversary, the Grand Formosa Regent Restaurant organized the “Gather ‘Round the Hot Pot, Share the Warmth” charity gift set sale. Each gift set includes a Yǐng Hot Pot Restaurant voucher worth NT$1,500, as well as random gifts sponsored by the hotel’s partners such as Kai Yuan Foods, Fees French Cuisine, Kang Jian Clinic, Häagen-Dazs, and the city government’s Information Bureau and Tourism Bureau. Each gift set is priced at just NT$1,200—that’s a 20% discount on the voucher. Customers can choose their preferred dining time and ingredients when visiting Yǐng Hot Pot, making it an incredible deal. Sales began on the 25th, with a limited run of 300 sets available until sold out.

Meanwhile, from February 1st to February 10th, the Grand Formosa Regent will join YMCA volunteers in delivering 100 premium hot pot New Year’s Eve meal sets—each valued at NT$1,800—to 100 disadvantaged families supported by the YMCA, ensuring that steaming-hot hot pot meals warm not only the stomach but also every family’s heart.

Each premium hot pot New Year’s Eve meal set includes Australian lobster, Hokkaido scallops, live-frozen king prawns, Taiwanese tilapia fillets, chicken leg meat, Taiwan black pork, a mixed vegetable platter, and assorted handmade meatballs. Festive radish cakes are also thoughtfully included, relieving recipient families of the hassle of preparing New Year’s dishes, while also bringing satisfied smiles and cherished memories to the children.
