Hualien Spends Big to Prepare for Summer Love Carnival; A-Mei and Jolin Tsai to Perform

Summer vacation is just around the corner! Hualien County Government has invested heavily in organizing the “Summer Love Carnival” to boost tourism in the region. Magistrate Fu Kun-chi hopes the event will help establish Hualien’s international image as a “City of Music.” The eight-day outdoor concert series will feature top-tier idols who consistently sell out stadium shows, aiming to ignite a summer travel boom to Hualien.

To build its reputation as a “City of Music,” Hualien County Government has hosted the “Summer Love Carnival” for several consecutive summers, inviting first-class superstar singers to perform. This year’s event will take place from June 29 to July 6 at the Hualien Guanghua Lifestyle Creative Park. Following last year’s performances by Mayday, Show Lo, Sodagreen, and Jolin Tsai, this year’s stellar lineup has fans buzzing with excitement. With over 42 popular artists—including Jolin Tsai, Show Lo, Show Luo, Mayday, Wei Bird, Sodagreen, Weng Li-you, and A-Mei—the festival promises to satisfy fans of all ages.

This year’s “Summer Love Carnival” features eight themed nights, starting with the Golden Melody Night on opening night, followed by Eco-Life Night, EDM Night, Summer Love Night, Creation Night, Dynamic Night, Island Night, and culminating in the Divine Night featuring a headline performance by A-Mei.
