Visit Guanzilin Red Leaf Park to admire Euploea butterflies & try your luck at the "Butterfly Machine" raffle

Over the past few years, the Siraya National Park Administration has been dedicated to restoring butterfly habitats, making Guanzilin Red Leaf Park the place with the highest concentration of Euploea butterflies in Taiwan. This time, in collaboration with the Tourism Bureau's "Summer Solstice 235" event, they’ve organized a "Butterfly Theme Park" featuring ecological guided tours combined with interactive performances. Additionally, spend NT$500 at partner shops within the park to exchange for one raffle ticket, with a chance to win an HTC Butterfly smartphone.

To welcome the summer, the Siraya National Scenic Area has launched three midsummer events: "Sweet Golf Dates in Siraya," "Butterfly Theme Park," and the "Fire King Festival," perfectly aligning with the Tourism Bureau’s "Taiwan Summer Solstice 235" series. Each of these midsummer events also offers additional perks and gifts for visitors.

Guanzilin Red Leaf Park has seen great success in butterfly conservation in recent years. To allow visitors to get closer to these butterflies, the special "Butterfly Theme Park" event has been organized, featuring expert-led ecological tours that introduce Guanzilin’s butterfly ecology and offer up-close butterfly encounters—combining fun, sightseeing, and raffle opportunities. In line with the butterfly theme, the Siraya National Park Administration has launched a weekly raffle for an HTC Butterfly smartphone. During the event period, spend NT$500 at any partner shop within the Siraya area to exchange for one raffle ticket.

Additionally, there’s the "Sweet Golf Dates in Siraya" event and the traditional Taiwanese "Fire King Festival." Golf enthusiasts shouldn’t miss the summer solstice "Sweet Golf Dates in Siraya," where popular courses like Jia-Nan Golf Course, Tainan Golf Course, and Yong’an Golf & Country Club offer special rates of NT$1,655 for play between 5 AM and 8 AM on event days. The administration also includes complimentary Siraya-selected honey and fresh fruit ice cream to help beat the summer heat.

To celebrate the arrival of the summer solstice, this year’s "Fire King Festival" has reintroduced the nearly lost "Cannon Fort Assault" activity. Combined with nearby Guanzilin attractions, the festival offers an in-depth experience tour, along with highlights from Dongshan, Baihe, and other scenic spots. Plan a one- or two-day trip with family during the holidays, head to Guanzilin, and immerse yourself in Taiwan’s beautiful mountains and waters.
