Christmas is here, followed by welcoming 2018. Speaking of which, 2017 was a year of global turbulence, and Taiwan’s word of the year was “茫” (bewilderment)! Even though the future is full of challenges, we must stay optimistic and move forward. Take a holiday break and come to Huashan 1914 for an exhibition.

Taiwan’s Illustration F4: I Am Mark x Dàyīn Dào Department Store x Ghost Gate Illustration x Dorothy, collaborate across fields for the first time in . Using a humorous and witty display style, they flip the negative energy of world-weariness into a full load of positive vibes.

The first-time joint exhibition of four illustrators with a combined fan base of three million. They specially attended together on the 22nd to celebrate the official opening of the exhibition. Li Yufei, General Manager of Organizer GeLin Cultural Creativity, said: “The power of daydreams should not be underestimated. Many of humanity’s great inventions stem from daydreams. We hope this exhibition, through its humorous and fun approach, can inspire creativity and remind Taiwanese people not to forget their original intentions and to dare to dream.”

The special exhibition is themed around “daydreams,” took months to plan, and invested heavily in developing a special exhibition app. The new theme combines AR interactive content, bringing virtual illustrations to life before your eyes and making whimsical dreams come true, offering visitors a brand-new exhibition experience. In the , you can follow “I Am Mark” as he flies around the world, imagine being a millionaire immersed in a rainforest of money, or experience the thrill of a superstar confidently walking down the red carpet.

You can also follow Sister Chicken from “Dàyīn Dào Department Store,” embarking on an RPG-style life adventure, gaining magical support, and defeating all kinds of difficult customers.

And “Ghost Gate Illustration” will take you through time and space to Grandma Ghost Gate’s grand dance hall, making you the center of attention. Finally, “Dorothy” will lead you into the mysterious space at the edge of dreams, strolling through a manuscript forest with her illustrated characters, and enjoying a unique intimate experience through Dorothy’s voice.

The illustrators' carefully designed illustrations will pop up on your screen, virtual characters will become your companions, and taking photos becomes even more fun. At the five major zones—“Welcome Entrance Area, Mark’s Fame and Fortune Dreams, Sister Chicken’s Hero’s Path, Grandma Ghost Gate’s Star Dreams, Dorothy’s Little Inn”—there are check-in codes. Use the app to collect 5 points, then head to [Daydream Memorial Kiosk] to get a cute mouse pad for just 50 NT coins.
