Free experience alert: Korea's first maglev train line—just a 12-minute ride!

Korea's first unmanned maglev train trial operation is now open, and you can still ride it for free!

The nearly 400 billion KRW maglev train reaches speeds of up to 100 km/h, with six stations from Incheon Airport to the terminal station Yongyu Island, including stops at the Long-Term Parking Lot Station, Union Building Station, Water Park Station, and more. The entire journey takes just 12 minutes, and each car can accommodate up to 230 passengers—perfect for a short trip after landing or before boarding.

Maglev ticket prices will be announced soon. Expected operating hours: daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, running every 15 minutes. The Korea Tourism Organization recommends heading to Geumchonpo Beach across from Yongyu Station; a 20-minute walk will take you to the Janjin Island Ferry Terminal, where you can take a boat to nearby Muui Island and Silmi Island for a unique Korean scenery experience.
