Comfort and Fun Combined: France’s Wooden Owl Inn

Owls aren’t just kings of the night—they’ve become hugely popular pets in Japan in recent years, but what would it be like to actually live inside one of their bodies?

FranceThe modern art design company Zebra3 recently drew inspiration from animal forms to create a habitable giant wooden statue with an adorable appearance.

This owl inn is locatedinFrance’s rural area, surrounded by grasslands and small woods. The designer meticulously crafted the texture and feel of bird feathers using wood, perfectly blending with the surrounding natural environment.

The interior is very minimalist, yet the soft hues of the wood give off a cozy and comfortable vibe. The owl’s eyes serve as little windows, letting in natural light.

The designer mentioned that the circular shape of the bed was inspired by a bird’s nest. Should they add a round cushion as an egg?

Spending a relaxing weekend with family and friends in such a fun environment is truly delightful.
