Bounce on a trampoline in a museum!? Singapore’s giant, fun art installation

When you step into a museum, you’re supposed to quiet down immediately—no more running around or playing, right? But National Museum of Singapore lets you jump right into the fun. To break away from the stereotype of museums being dull, they commissioned the YokYok Studio to design a giant trampoline, open for visitors to leap and play to their heart's content. Set within the museum’s perfectly proportioned architecture, this trampoline becomes part of the geometric design, blending seamlessly into the building from multiple angles.
The wide 11-meter by 7-meter safety net allows multiple people to enter at once—whether you want to rest, play, take photos, or admire the beauty of the architecture, you can step right in.
A resting space doesn’t always have to be just benches—it can also feature playful and fun designs like this. Echoing the ceiling above, it forms a giant visual graphic that’s really quite amusing.
National Museum of Singapore often introduces various innovative interactive designs. Fans of creative design should definitely keep an eye on their latest updates.
