A dreamy blue ice world underground in Alaska!

Glaciers blending white and blue are often places travelers hope to visit. And thisUnited Statesglacier on the Juneau Icefield in Alaska is one of the most accessible in the region, boasting mesmerizing, fantastical scenery.
Seeing such a unique and spectacular sight will immediately inspire photography enthusiasts to grab their cameras. Shaped over millennia by nature, this ice cave—named the Mendenhall Glacier—resembles a frozen water hotel, forming a brilliant blue tunnel. There are 37 other glaciers on the Juneau Icefield near the city of Juneau, but the Mendenhall Glacier remains the most famous, drawing numerous visitors each year.
Light filtering through the ice cave makes the entire cavern sparkle like a sapphire.
Though relatively easy to reach, traversing this area still requires professional gear and guidance from experts—it’s not a place for solo adventurers!
