Due to the approaching of Typhoon Soudelor to Taiwan, the Central Weather Bureau has issued a land typhoon warning. As the Taitung area is also within the alert zone, the organizing committee has announced the suspension of the afternoon hot air balloon tethering activities and the evening light and shadow music concert on the 12th, and the cancellation of all hot air balloon activities for the entire day on the 13th.

As for the additional services of the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Valley Luye Line in coordination with the hot air balloon event, the “additional services” and “light and shadow” trips from the afternoon of the 12th through the entire day of the 13th are canceled; regular trips on the 12th will operate as scheduled.
