Duck-spotting fun on the water! Kaohsiung duck-watching yacht package for just NT$299, plus a cute yellow rubber duck

Spot ducks from a yacht! The yellow rubber duck is set to visit Kaohsiung in mid-September. The city government has launched a limited-edition yacht package for duck viewing, which includes a pocket-sized travel guide, an adorable yellow duck, a one-day MRT pass, and a ticket for a yacht ride at Hongmao Port. Pre-order during September 7–13 for a special price of NT$299.

To coincide with the yellow duck exhibition period, the “Happy Duck-Watching in Kaohsiung” package combines the Red Mau Port Cultural Park and a newly launched cruise route from “Pier-2 Art Center – Asia New Bay Area.” With a guide on board, the yacht will sail closer and stay longer near the duck display area, offering visitors a more intimate duck-viewing experience.

The limited 1,000 sets of the duck-watching package go on sale on September 7, with a pre-order price of NT$299 before September 13, and NT$349 per set after that date. They are available at Kaohsiung MRT service counters or the Formosa Boulevard MRT Merchandise Store.

Starting September 20 through the end of the exhibition, Kaohsiung MRT will also sell the “Yellow Duck Edition Stored-Value Card” at all service counters. Each card is priced at NT$300, includes NT$30 in stored value, and comes with a cute yellow duck. Cardholders can take the duck boat on the Love River route from Glory Pier to the waters near Zhongzheng Bridge to admire the duck.
