Guam is well known for hosting various major international sporting events. In addition to more familiar events such as marathons, cycling, and golf tournaments, a new international competition is about to debut that will be refreshing for Taiwanese audiences.The Guam International Bodybuilding Competitionwill be held on October 26 at the Leo Palace Resort in Guam.

The “Guam International Bodybuilding Competition” is now open for registration, with entries closing on October 26. The competition will be divided into an international division and a local division. Bodybuilders from around the world can register for the international division, while the local division is only open to residents of Guam. Participants wishing to register must sign up and pay fees by October 12. After October 12, an additional $25 event processing fee will apply.

Additionally, the Guam Visitors Bureau has launched the “Ride Through the ‘Gate,’ Cycling Odyssey,” which will take place from November 20 to November 24 in Guam. Taiwanese cycling enthusiasts are invited to join in and enjoy this cycling journey that combines biking with immersive travel, featuring azure seas and skies, traditional culture, and historical landmarks.

The “Ride Through the ‘Gate,’ Cycling Odyssey” event will depart from Taiwan on November 20 via China Airlines and return on November 24. The highlight of the trip is a 40-kilometer cycling route that begins at the Guam Visitors Bureau, heads north along the road to tackle undulating terrain, reaches the famous Lover’s Cove, which offers a panoramic view of Tumon Bay and embraces the vast Philippine Sea, then continues southward to the War in the Pacific National Historical Park. After enjoying the sea and sky views and taking photos, the journey continues back to the hotel, where participants can relax in the outdoor hot tub at the Pacific Islands Club Resort or enjoy snorkeling in the private beach.
