This Christmas, you can also experience the romantic atmosphere of skating in the snow！COMMUNE A7 in Taipei’s Xinyi District has created a magical ice-skating rink this holiday season, with scheduled “snowfall” throughout the venue, giving visitors a festive vibe reminiscent of Europe or America. Starting from mid-to-late December, COMMUNE A7 will also launch a variety of fun and diverse holiday activities, including pet Christmas costume events, singles meet-ups, as well as exciting performances by DJs, dancers, and Acapella groups, keeping the romance and joy going all the way into 2018！

This year, COMMUNE A7 presents “Magical White Christmas” to create a dreamlike scene for the holidays, offering a romantic ice-skating rink for the public to enjoy. In addition to creatively designed Christmas trees and lighting, there’s also a flurry of silver-white snowflakes. Visitors can enjoy the most beautiful night view in the heart of Taipei while feeling like they’ve stepped into a winter wonderland like Rockefeller Center. Moreover, a series of rich activities are also being offered, including an ice skateboarding competition, Acapella performances, astrology experts on-site, and singles meet-up events, to celebrate one last lively festival.

As for the most anticipated New Year’s Eve event, this year it will be divided into two zones. The Final Countdown celebration hosted by COMMUNE A7 will take place in the container area, which is said to offer the best view of the Taipei 101 fireworks. In addition, ONE AND ONLY 2018, hosted by FREZZ and WAVE CLUB Taipei, will kick off with great fanfare on the open space north of the container area, featuring multiple DJs taking turns to electrify the New Year’s Eve countdown with electronic music.

COMMUNE A7 will officially bid farewell at the end of January 2018, making way for the new skyscraper Taipei Sky Tower (TST). The new lifestyle district, planned with innovative concepts, will feature two international hotel brands co-locating, blending Eastern and Western cultures. It will also include flagship experiential concept stores, innovative dining options, and performance spaces, with completion expected in 2020.
