The Taipei International Travel Fair kicks off on the 18th — international flight tickets start bidding from just NT$1 on-site

The annual Taipei International Travel Fair will be held from October 18 to 21. This year’s event features 900 exhibitors from 60 countries/regions across 1,350 booths, marking a 12.5% increase. Various tourism bureaus and airlines are offering discounted fares, while a wide range of domestic and international travel products are available at substantial discounts. Early bird deals are available for travel plans from autumn-winter foliage viewing, Christmas, New Year’s Eve to next year’s winter and spring holidays.

For domestic travel packages offered by airlines,Mandarin Airlinesis offering a two-day Taitung self-drive tour package starting from NT$2,999, with an additional NT$500 discount on-site at the fair, and a three-day Penghu self-drive tour package starting from NT$3,399;Uni Airhas a “Penghu Slow Life” three-day-two-night self-drive tour starting from NT$3,599, as well as an “I See You Pure Taitung Tour” three-day-two-night self-drive tour starting from NT$3,999.

For international travel packages offered by airlines,Hong Kong Airlinesis selling round-trip tickets to Hong Kong for just NT$3,188;EVA Holidaysoffers an “Embrace Macau – Hug Sheraton” two-day-one-night self-drive tour starting from NT$8,185 per person. A Hong Kong wine and Michelin journey is available for three days-two-nights from NT$11,900, and the “Thunderbolt Impact Heaven” two-night experience starts from NT$19,000.China Airlines Premium Traveloffers discounts of NT$700 to NT$2,500 per person for departures between October 18 and March 31 next year. Early bird prices for US West Coast flights start from NT$18,000, and US East Coast flights from NT$24,200.

Flight + hotel self-drive tours for two people are available from just NT$8,800 per person.Japan Airlinesis offering surprise prices on individual tickets to Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya starting from NT$6,800, a three-day-two-night self-drive tour in Northeast Japan from NT$19,900, early bird prices for US West Coast flights from NT$18,000, and US East Coast flights from NT$24,200.
Canada packages start from NT$31,610.AirAsiahas partnered with Tourism Malaysia to offer a flight + hotel self-drive tour package for NT$15,000, with a daily draw for free accommodation in Malaysia. The first 100 customers will also receive a “orangutan doll,” not available in Taiwan.
