1. Intercontinental Baseball Cultural and Creative Park

The “Intercontinental Baseball Story Museum,” which opened just this August, especially its “Good Luck Hall,” is adorned with eight colorful round windows, beneath which lies a mural depicting a century of baseball history in Taichung. The sci-fi-inspired wormhole installation has become a new hotspot for photos in Taichung. Baseball enthusiasts can also purchase tickets to enter the “Intercontinental Baseball Story Museum” to learn more about this fascinating sport.

2. Tun District Cultural and Artistic Center

Umbrellas, everyday household items found in every home, take on a whole new charm when used in large-scale installations. This limited-time free attraction, previewing Taichung’s hosting of the 2018 Flower Expo, showcases the “Umbrellas Brighten the Flower Expo, Shining Taichung” installation art. Featuring umbrellas as the main element and flowers as a complement, and incorporating local umbrella companies, it creates seven unique installations that present different appearances during the day and at night.

3. Sha-Lu Dream Street

Located near Providence University, “Sha-Lu Dream Street” greets visitors with the bold words “BIG DREAM.” It inevitably stirs memories of one's own dreams—dreams that may have faded with age or been abandoned along the way. Each iron door on Dream Street is painted with uplifting artwork, but the most unique is an open iron gate where shelves are filled with blue and green basketballs, offering basketball fans a place to reconnect with their dreams.

4. Fantasia Green Light Project

The Green Light Project continues Fantasia’s four core themes: Green Awakening, Memory Continuation, Creative Passion, and Dream Amplification. It preserves some urban memories and promotes niche creativity not commonly seen in city centers. Hidden within Taichung’s alleyways, the “Green Light Project” is a popular cultural and creative hub. Recently, the casually hung fabric banners are actually artworks made from upcycled old clothes by artists. The vibrant, floor-reaching threads attract many individualistic youngsters who come here to leave their mark.
