I don’t know why? I just really love this place, maybe it’s the beautiful combination of lake and mountains. That night, unhurried and peaceful, riding the soft evening wind, the call of spring brought us back here. On Saturday evening, there were surprisingly few people in front of Wenwu Temple. The daytime clamor of tourists had died down, leaving Sun Moon Lake in tranquility, so that we could enjoy this mountain-water scenery to our heart's content.

The snack street at Yida Shao Pier has lots of delicious food. Pulonggong from the “Shi Shang Wan Jia” (Foodie Players) crew even came here — of course, we had to try some!“Shao Heyi Hand Rolls” let you choose between chicken or wild boar filling. Not very hungry? Then grab a big black rice cracker stuffed with cilantro, peanut powder, and pickled vegetables. At night, sitting at the pier and watching the glowing buildings around, slowly enjoying a simple dinner, exchanging smiles with your loved one. Ah~ it turns out happiness is just this simple. That night, we fell sweetly asleep under the beautiful lights of the Hotel Indigo Sun Moon Lake.

Ah!! Opened the curtains and quickly, quickly, quickly!! Something amazing is about to happen? I urged my husband to quickly get the gear ready. There was no more room left at the pier to set up... Without brushing teeth or washing up... The morning at Shuishe Pier was still full of anticipation. The unpredictable waves made those waiting feel uneasy. Of course — the grand scene didn’t appear. But were we disappointed? No. We strolled along the lakeshore, enjoying the bright, spring morning at Mingtan...


On Saturday evening, there were unexpectedly not many people in front of Wenwu Temple.


The daytime noise of tourists had died down, leaving Sun Moon Lake in peaceful solitude.


The calm, ripple-free surface of the lake reflected the graceful curves of the night, winding through Yida Shao Pier — the most beautiful sight on a tranquil evening.


The Yida Shao Pier is often bathed in light under the evening sky, with a cool ambiance and colorful neon lights adding even more charm.

Night after night, it’s beautiful. The water outlets by Sun Moon Lake add an air of mystery, creating the most romantic and stunning views under the soft glow of lights.

I, in the morning of Sun Moon Lake, breathed deeply, earnestly chasing the next more beautiful destination. Standing here, I saw the most beautiful view of Sun Moon Lake — the vast, misty waters hidden within this picturesque mountain landscape.


In the early morning, a thin veil covers the lake’s surface, rippling with hazy beauty. When the sun rises above the mountains, the once-misty lake gradually reveals its outline.


I love mornings like this — full of freshness, nature, and vitality. Taking deep breaths of the cool air, arms outstretched to embrace nature, quietly waiting for the sun to climb over the mountains, watching the fog lingering over the water slowly dissipate.


In the morning, the air carries a faintly sweet freshness. Stepping on the dew and embracing the blue sky, seeing such a vast and beautiful lakescape, being in the stunning Sun Moon Lake — how fortunate we are.


In the cool morning, we’re lucky enough to witness the “double reflections” on Sun Moon Lake’s tranquil waters. Gazing into the distance at the sparkling blue waves, or looking closer at the lake surrounded by hills — the serenity and elegance feel like poetry.


Walking along the winding lakeshore, what greets the eye is thrilling joy. The morning of Sun Moon Lake… stirs every excited heart, presenting a picturesque scene before our eyes.
