Last updated 2026-09-25 — I often heard about this girly-themed specialty waffle shop from friends in Kaohsiung and had always thought that if I ever visited, I must check it out. This time, taking the opportunity to see the Rubber Duck, I dropped by to try their simple yet stylish, subtly luxurious Belgian Liège waffles. The waffles here aren’t very big—they’re grid-style—but they come in flamboyant, colorful, and elaborate designs. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, and the portions are small, making them just the right amount of sweet happiness for girls.

I often heard about this girly-themed specialty waffle shop from friends in Kaohsiung and had always thought that if I ever visited, I must check it out.

Located in the Yucheng commercial district, this white-based design-style building is easy to spot, with a refreshing vibe.

The decor actually has a minimalist and stylish feel, leaning toward a cool, edgy dark-princess theme—XD

The lack of excessive decoration actually highlights the sense of quality even more.
The cool-tone design paired with uniquely styled black chairs and tables resembles a graceful yet cool and dark-style princess.

There aren’t many seats—the space can probably only accommodate around 20 people.

The interior is simple and clean, and even the open kitchen doesn’t look messy—it feels tidy and comfortable.

The waffle iron.

They don’t offer many items, but the waffles alone are divided into several detailed types, such as vintage and fashion styles.

The menu includes pictures for reference, but every item is so colorful and cute—it all looks incredibly delicious, making it really hard to choose!
Prices are generally within the 40–125 range, which is affordable for most, and the level of refinement really makes you feel it’s worth it.

American light coffee
I ordered a drink first—since I was going to have dessert afterward, I went with an unsweetened American light coffee. It had a rich aroma, though it was a bit bitter.

Lemon stevia
I really think this one is tasty and creative—those strips are stevia, which tastes genuinely sweet and fragrant. It’s blended with lemon juice and stevia, giving it a sweet-tart flavor with a unique aroma. Then there are kiwi slices added for texture; the color looks amazing, and it tastes great too—the special aroma is really surprising upon the first sip.

Spanish Rose
This is totally a girly color—pink—and it looks beautiful, topped with a generous sprinkle of dried rose petals. The fragrance is so intense—it feels like you're drinking rose essential oil. I felt like my whole body smelled like roses after drinking it. When I asked the staff, they said Spanish Rose naturally has a stronger scent, and it's all natural, so no need to mind.

This cup is so pretty it’s almost a shame to drink it~

Colorful Paradise
Made with bananas, strawberries, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, whipped cream, and Belgian Liège waffles, this Colorful Paradise is truly lively and vibrant—especially with that thick slice of banana that looks super wholesome!

A very refined and delicious waffle, decorated with fruits, making it not just tasty but also nutritious.

But honestly, the highlight is the waffle itself—the Belgian Liège waffle is really crispy and flaky for me. Even when cooled, the texture isn’t affected. It’s made with Taiwan free-range eggs and absolutely no added water—just whole milk from Juliu. Upon the first bite, you get the aroma of milk and eggs, and inside it’s thick, dense, and has a chewy-Q texture. It’s not overly sweet, and the surface has a faint hint of honey aroma. I love it so much. For someone like me who doesn’t usually like waffles and is very not-girly, this place’s waffles have totally won me over.

Cherry Chocolate
Hardly anyone can see cherries without getting happy—everyone loves cherries, right? So seeing cherry chocolate, it’s hard not to order it XD
Fresh, delicious cherries paired with blueberries, Hagan-Dazs chocolate, and whipped cream—it looks exquisitely delicious!

The Hagan-Dazs chocolate ice cream is seriously amazing—rich, sweet, melts in your mouth, with a slight bittersweet chocolate aftertaste. Paired with the crispy waffle, it creates a multi-layered and rich texture. Then you finish with a tangy, juicy cherry—wow, now that’s perfection.

Strawberry Custard
Getting custard that’s not overly sweet, melts in your mouth, leaves a lingering sweet aftertaste without being cloying — that’s no easy feat. Their custard is definitely top-notch. Even those of us watching our weight couldn’t help but have an extra bite or two. It’s refreshing, smooth, sweet, and delicious, especially when paired with tangy, fresh strawberries and pancakes. So satisfying~~

Fruit Jewelry Box
The Fruit Jewelry Box combines seasonal fruits with mulberry sorbet ice cream. Doesn’t it look gorgeous and colorful?
Their pancakes are exquisite, vibrant, and luxurious. The highlight is that they all use fresh, seasonal fruits, making them both refreshing and nutritious.

The sweet and tangy mulberry sorbet ice cream is delicious on its own. It’s even more delightful when paired with fruits and pancakes.
Actually, because the pancakes are sweet, fragrant, and hearty, pairing them with slightly tangy fruits and ice cream helps cut through the richness and is also quite appetizing.

The NANA LADY Belgian Liège Waffle is a refined and rich dessert. It’s clear from every ingredient that they put a lot of care and effort into it, sparing no expense to deliver genuine quality. It’s sweet without being cloying, with just the right level of sweetness that feels truly comforting and worry-free. Each waffle makes a luxurious entrance, perfectly executed. They’re not very large, each one small, delicate, and adorable. For women, it’s just the right portion — not too much to be a burden. Plus, girls love taking photos and chatting over them. This Belgian Liège waffle is amazing — it stays crispy and tasty even when cooled down, and the filling is sweet, hearty, soft, and chewy. I personally really like this Belgian Liège waffle from NANA LADY and highly recommend sharing it with everyone ^^
