“If I could, I would borrow happiness from all over the world for you.” This classic advertising line for Ferrero’s Kinder Bueno chocolate captures the joy of savoring chocolate. Known as the “Chocolate Capital” and also the birthplace of Kinder Bueno, the important northern Italian city of Turin will host its major annual event, the “Turin Chocolate Festival” (CioccolaTÒ), from November 22 to December 1, gathering premium European chocolate creations.

Located in Italy’s northern Piedmont region, Turin is the regional capital and the country’s leading economic hub after Rome and Milan. The city has many nicknames: politicians revere it as the “Cradle of Italian Freedom,” sports car enthusiasts call it the “Automobile Capital of Italy,” and for chocolate lovers who adore its sweet, indulgent taste, it is a city that exudes a rich aroma of chocolate and is the birthplace of classic brands like Ferrero and Caffarel—the “Chocolate Capital.”

The “Turin Chocolate Festival” has been a long-running event, traditionally held between March and May in previous years, but this year it has been moved to late November. During the festival, chocolate brands from all over Europe gather to showcase their unique sweet flavors, allowing chocolate enthusiasts to sample new creations or unveil their latest products. Here, visitors will lose themselves in the Cioccola Bar, filled with all kinds of chocolates that stimulate not only the taste buds but also the sense of smell and sight. Throughout the event, Caffarel hosts activities where chocolate fans can experience the joy of making their own personalized chocolates.
