Brewing Good Flavor Over Time: Luguo Coffee's Main Store Gets a Makeover

Just a three-minute walk from Exit 1 of Guandu MRT Station, you’ll find Luguo Coffee’s Guandu flagship store. The owner, Lu Guojiehe — whose name cleverly blends with the café’s name — has been dedicated to the self-roasted coffee business for nearly a decade. Two years ago, he opened another branch in the Dadaocheng Dihua Street area. In an era where longevity pays off, he’s considered a veteran in the field.

While Luguo Coffee’s Xiaoyiting branch gradually settled into its rhythm, Luguo Coffee’s Guandu flagship store completed its renovation just before the Lunar New Year, greeting the new year with a brand-new look.

Besides making a name with its self-roasted coffee, Lu Guojiehe, who graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts’ Department of Fine Arts, has effectively leveraged his network to actively promote live music performances over the years. Entry is usually free, with just a minimum drink purchase — a big hit among students and faculty of the university.

With endless creative ideas, Luguo Coffee recently collaborated with the Wood Alloy Studio to launch the “Luz 0?a Rosée” wooden-handcrafted coffee dripper set — simply stunning. Both newcomers and regulars can take this chance to visit Guandu, enjoy some coffee, and check out this product.
