Right on the dot like clockwork—Hawaiian Airlines ranks No. 1 in on-time performance across the U.S.

Hawaiian Airlines, which launched its first flight in Taiwan just this July, has achieved remarkable aviation milestones this year. With an almost perfect on-time rate of 95.5%, it earned the title of "No. 1 Most On-Time Airline in the U.S." and has held the top spot in the U.S. airline industry for nine consecutive years. Out of 5,831 flights, only 4 were canceled, earning it the honor of "Lowest Flight Cancellation Rate." Additionally, the airline introduced "Extra Comfort Economy" class to enhance cabin quality.

According to the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Air Travel Consumer Report, Hawaiian Airlines, which has been in operation for 84 years, excelled in both "on-time performance" and "lowest flight cancellation rate," securing the No. 1 ranking in the United States. Furthermore, this major airline serving Hawaii has rapidly expanded its Asian route network in recent years, including destinations such as Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Taipei was added as a destination in July this year, with three weekly round-trip flights between Taiwan and Honolulu.

Hawaiian Airlines not only values punctuality but also quality, announcing that all A330 series flights will feature the new "Extra Comfort Economy" class, set to launch in June 2014. The Extra Comfort Economy class is a new cabin tier situated between business and economy class, comprising 40 seats located in rows 11 to 14 and 33 to 34. Reservations for this new class became available on the Hawaiian Airlines website starting January 2014.
