The Kaohsiung Yellow Duck is set to be displayed on the 21st, and preparations should theoretically be nearly complete. However, it was recently revealed that the original creator, Florentijn Hofman, opposed the duck rotating 360 degrees, forcing the organizing team to cancel the plan. On the 18th, it was further reported that Fan Keqin, the chief planner of the duck display, has resigned. The Kaohsiung City Government also issued a press release stating that it has terminated its partnership with Fan Keqin.

The press release stated that the original organizing team failed to properly plan the exhibition and did not communicate or coordinate with the Kaohsiung Mayor and relevant city government departments in advance, causing inconvenience to the city government. As a result, the partnership with Mr. Fan Keqin has been terminated. At the same time, Mr. Fan Keqin, the original chief planner of the event, officially resigned. The upcoming 50-day exhibition period will be managed by a new working team (the new team is Weilihe Integrated Marketing Company).
