One-Day Plan to Become an Instagram Model: 10 Popular Photo Spots to Explore the Mountain and Sea Wonders of New Taipei

Every time you scroll through Instagram and see those dreamy photos taken by influencers, it’s hard to believe such stunning, almost foreign landscapes actually exist in Taiwan. And many of these popular photo spots are right here in New Taipei City. The New Taipei City Government has compiled a list of popular IG-worthy photo spots in the city, including the Earless Teapot Mountain Trail, Shitoushan Trail/Candlestick Islets, and Shanjia Railway Station. They have carefully designed 10 one-day photography tours to showcase the beauty of New Taipei to photography-loving tourists from Korea and beyond.

Route 2: Waterfall Chasing & Sky Lantern Releasing – “Pingxi & Shiding” for Blessings & Cool Relief
MRT Muzha Station → Shiding Old Street → Shiding Waterfall Park → Pingxi Old Street → Jingting Station → Polisi Sky Lantern Museum → New Taipei Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival

Route 3: Artistic Feast – “Jinshan & Wanli” for Crab Dining & Hot Springs
