The world’s first robot-staffed “The Weird Hotel” (Yūna no Hoteru), which opened its second branch next to Tokyo Disneyland in March, has now announced its expansion to central Japan. The third branch will be located next to the theme park “Laguna Ten Bosch” in Gamagōri City, Aichi Prefecture, with an expected opening on August 1.

The Weird Hotel replaces human labor with automation and highly efficient robots, offering guests affordable accommodation prices. The Laguna Ten Bosch branch will be situated right next to the theme park. In the lobby, a family of dinosaur robots will greet guests—starting with a 7-meter-tall T-Rex dad. The front desk services, including check-in and check-out, will be handled by a T-Rex mom and her kid, with multilingual capabilities to assist international guests with ease.

The Laguna Ten Bosch branch is expected to offer a total of 100 rooms and will provide early access to the theme park 15 minutes before official opening hours. Additionally, guests can enjoy a special service package worth 7,000 yen, which includes park entry tickets, access to a natural hot spring, and parking fees, among other benefits. Reservations are now open.
