The Tallest Skyscraper in the U.S. Boasts a Transparent Skydeck – 103 Floors High and Vertigo-Inducing

Want to experience a skywalk and test your nerves without traveling all the way to the Grand Canyon or the Alps? Willis Tower in Chicago, USA, has installed a transparent observation deck on the 103rd floor. The glass floor that extends outward from the wall allows visitors to gaze at the stunning views of Chicago while feeling their legs go weak with thrill.

The tallest skyscraper in the U.S., Willis Tower, features four transparent observation boxes (skydecks), attracting at least 1.3 million visitors annually. Walking on the reinforced glass that can hold up to 5,000 kilograms not only offers views of the Chicago cityscape but also of Lake Michigan, the Chicago River and Canal, as well as Michigan Avenue.
