Kaohsiung Lantern Festival   "Happy Horse" Mini Lantern Distribution Info on 2/8 & 2/14

The 2014 Kaohsiung Lantern Festival, which kicked off with a lighting ceremony on January 28, will run until February 23. In addition to the expanded lantern displays attracting visitors, the adorable "Happy Horse" mini lanterns have also become a highlight of the event.



The Kaohsiung City Government stated that this year's "Happy Horse" mini lanterns feature a dual-color scheme of peach pink and powder blue, paired with Hakka floral fabric rich in local character, embodying the festival spirit of "love" and "happiness." The public is welcome to come and collect them.

Distribution information for the 2014 Kaohsiung Lantern Festival "Happy Horse" mini lanterns is as follows:

February 8 (Sat) 17:00
Distribution locations: Zhongshan Sando Service Desk, Hedong Wufu Service Desk, Gangshan Riverbank Park, Qishan Railway Station

February 14 (Fri) 17:00
Distribution location: Zhongshan Sando Service Desk

Note: Lanterns will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis via queue. Each person is limited to two lanterns and will be given while supplies last. The default distribution is one peach pink and one powder blue lantern per person, but this may be adjusted based on on-site availability. Color selection is not available.
