Spring cherry blossom tour in Shenkeng – Taipei Holiday Hotel launches “Cherry Blossom Spring Festival”

Taipei Holiday Hotel, located in Shenkeng, has launched the “Cherry Blossom Spring Festival” event. Liu Heng-ching, General Manager of Taipei Holiday Hotel, said that just after the Lunar New Year, the hotel has launched a special event to mark the season. A special opening event was held at the Sam’s Café international buffet on the first floor, which not only featured performances by instructors from the Japanese Choumei Buyo Dance Troupe, but also included specially created dishes by the executive chef.

Huang Chih-ming, executive chef of the Western restaurant at Taipei Holiday Hotel, said preparations for cherry blossom-themed dishes had begun before the Lunar New Year. These include “Cherry Blossom-Glazed Tender Duck,” “Cherry Blossom Glaze Fish” steamed and marinated with cherry blossom wine and sauce, and “Cherry Blossom Strawberry Daifuku” made with cherry blossom custard and fresh strawberries. The hotel has also planned several spring cherry blossom tour routes, including trips from Shenkeng to Shiding or to Wulai for cherry blossom viewing and hot springs.
