Yuan Yuan, the giant panda at the zoo, has become a happy mom thanks to the birth of Yuan Zai, and May 11 will also mark her first Mother’s Day. The Taipei Zoo also pointed out that the American wood ducks and peacocks at the zoo have recently given birth to second-generation offspring, becoming joyful animal moms. The peacock breeding season is approximately from April to August, and during courtship, male peacocks display their colorful feathers in competition, making them the biggest highlight in the aviary.

This time, the peacocks laid 2 eggs, and one chick successfully hatched on April 5.
