Taitung Airport Passenger Service Center Opens – Chat Over Tea Under the Tree with Takeshi Kaneshiro

Want to enjoy the lingering aroma of tea under the iconic tree where Takeshi Kaneshiro serves tea, set against a backdrop of golden rice fields? Now you don’t have to make a special trip to Brown Highway – at Taitung Airport’s passenger service center, you can see the handsome Takeshi Kaneshiro saying “I SEE YOU”!

Sponsored by EVA Air and hosted by Taitung Airport, the newly revamped Taitung Airport Passenger Service Center officially debuted to travelers on the 29th. The newly built service center features a clean and tidy space, along with added instant services and 24-hour self-service options. It also incorporates technology with a touchscreen-based information platform, offering the latest and most interesting local travel information in Taitung, allowing visitors to plan their trips “at their fingertips.”

In addition, the passenger service center will be regularly themed around seasonal tourism activities to showcase various facets of Taitung. The first special display is supported by EVA Air, fully recreating the beautiful Chihshang rice fields and the scene of Takeshi Kaneshiro serving tea under the tree. Going forward, this place will no longer just be a passenger service center but also a new tourist attraction. Starting today, Taitung Airport also provides free wireless broadband Taitung Free WiFi (TT-Free) for all travelers, hoping to transform Taitung into an international travel hotspot with these enhanced facilities.
