Cycle just 35 km a day to fulfill your dream – a seven-day “Two-Rail Island Tour” starts at just NT$30,999

Organized by Lion Travel, the “Two-Rail Island Tour: A Journey of Beauty and the Heart” adopts a travel method combining Taiwan Railways and cycling (“two rails and a bike”), taking six nights and seven days to complete the island-wide trip. This year marks the second edition of the event. To encourage more families to join in the fun together, this year’s organizers are also offering free participation for eligible family members in four-generation or three-generation family groups who sign up.

The full cycling distance of this island tour is 295 km, averaging between 35 and 60 km per day, passing through multiple scenic areas and cycling paths. The tour also visits famous tourist spots such as Changhua Fan-Shaped Railway Station, Lukang Old Street, Kenting Eluanbi Lighthouse, and Taitung Chishang’s Brown Highway. In addition, a two-rail Ju-Feng Express train is arranged for riders to use, making the island journey more relaxing.

You Guo-Zhen, Deputy General Manager of Lion Travel, said that the Two-Rail Island Tour product launched in 2013 attracted a total of 284 participants across two sessions. During the island tour, travelers can not only experience the cultural beauty between Taiwan’s cities and countryside, but also strengthen relationships among family and friends. Therefore, this year there will be two sessions on July 27 and August 17, with prices starting from NT$30,999. The program emphasizes that both the bicycles and accommodations provided are top-notch, and support vehicles such as lead and supply vehicles will be arranged to ensure rider safety.
