Another New Year’s Eve Option: Ring in the New Year at a Hotel Party

As New Year’s Eve approaches, have you decided how to celebrate? If you enjoy a lively atmosphere and want non-stop music all night, then consider joining a New Year’s Eve party. In addition to events hosted by regular pubs, many hotels also offer special countdown parties featuring high-energy live music and unlimited drinks.

▲ The Kayue Hall on the second floor of Grand Hyatt Taipei, which boasts an exceptional view of the fireworks, will host a dazzling New Year’s Eve party starting at 10 PM on December 31. Guests can enjoy the Taipei 101 fireworks display from the terrace just one street away. The event features high-energy live music, interactive magic performances, tarot card readings, and more. The entry fee is NT$3,280 per person.

Additionally, from 10 PM on December 31 to 2 AM on January 1, 2018, Ziga Zaga will hold its annual “Happy New Year’s Eve Party.” The restaurant’s premier international band, G-male, will perform a range of heartfelt songs, from jazz and blues to 1950s classics and American rock. There will also be a DJ live show delivering high-octane beats. The party entry fee is NT$1,780 per person, including unlimited drinks such as selected red and white wines, sparkling wine, beer, and soft drinks.

W Taipei
▲ W Taipei will host the “2018 REMIX YOUR YEAR” New Year’s Eve Party at the 10th-floor WET Bar poolside lounge starting at 9 PM on December 31. The event will feature an electrifying music lineup curated by W Taipei’s Music Director, Chun Chun Tan, and popular DJs. Early bird tickets are available for NT$2,200 per person, while tickets purchased on the day of the event are NT$2,500 per person. The YEN Bar’s New Year’s Eve Party is priced at NT$2,500 per person.

▲ The 2018 “Extreme Domination” party will once again take place at Regent Tainan, set in a spacious, pillar-free venue with a six-meter-high ceiling. The event brings together four of Tainan’s most popular bars—“Crystal Lounge, TCRC, K.C Cigar BAR, and LONG BAR”—for a night of unlimited cocktails. This year, two new express cocktail bars will be added to ensure non-stop drinking throughout the night. Renowned party DJs and MCs will also be on hand to keep the energy high with their lively beats. Tickets for this annual extravaganza are NT$1,380 per person.

Zhongshan Aloft Hotel
▲ Zhongshan Aloft Hotel in Taipei will prepare lively music, a dynamic DJ, a selection of red and white wines, beers, and tasty fried snacks on the 17th-floor W XYZ Bar to keep the party going all night. The party price is NT$1,000 per person + 10%.

▲ The Pier No. 1 rooftop bar at Grand Park Kaohsiung Indigo Hotel features a romantic open-air setting with stunning harbor views, which attracted many visitors right after its opening. This year, the high-altitude bar will host a music party from 9 PM for five hours of non-stop entertainment. Unlimited drinks including beer, red and white wines, and House Mix will be available. Additionally, early bird room packages start from NT$8,696 per night, allowing guests to welcome 2018 amidst the beautiful night scenery. Early bird ticket price: NT$2,018 for two people.
