Blessed with breathtaking natural scenery, Hamilton Island will host a photography workshop from July 13 to 17. Masters of the craft will guide photography enthusiasts into the art of photography, allowing them to explore the wonders of the Whitsunday Islands and capture it all through their lenses.

Both professional and amateur photography lovers can join this four-day photography workshop, following two of Australia’s most renowned photographers to the world’s most beautiful island — Hamilton Island. The workshop covers both technical and artistic aspects, as well as photography promotion and marketing. Observe Clare & David Oliver demonstrate how to shoot weddings, listen to Peter Eastway explain his compositional insights when photographing nature, and hear Bruce Pottiger share his views on digital processing and art. Introduction to Photography Masters:

David Oliver
An AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) award-winning wedding photography master who will teach and demonstrate wedding photography techniques.

Peter Eastway
An AIPP award-winning nature landscape photographer and editor-in-chief of Better Photography magazine, who will teach and demonstrate landscape photography techniques.

Bruce Pottinger
An honorary member of AIPP with a Ph.D. in L&P Digital Photography, he will serve as the digital photography instructor for this event and help you tackle challenges in this field.

Clare Oliver
While others may reminisce about the past, Clare Oliver focuses solely on the present, gradually becoming a leading figure in wedding photography and carving her own path in the competitive field.
