What exactly does an underwater palace from a fairy tale look like? Located in Zhuhai, Chimelong Ocean Resort is the world’s largest marine-themed amusement park, featuring three uniquely themed hotels. The luxury-styled Hengqin Bay Hotel feels like staying in an underwater palace. The hotel stands by the sea, with 1,888 rooms offering ocean views right from the windows, and you can even see dolphins swimming within the hotel grounds.

Stepping into Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel, you’re greeted by giant dolphin statues—the eight dolphins are actually the pillars of the lobby, supporting an 18-meter-high grand dome, both magnificent and imposing. From the vast lobby to the door handles in the rooms, marine life motifs are found everywhere, with exquisite designs hidden in the details, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in a romantic underwater kingdom.
