10 Routes to Explore the Ancient Capital Together – The Most Romantic Qixi Trip in Tainan

Qixi Valentine’s Day is approaching, and have you figured out where to take your loved one yet? The “2014 Tainan Love City Qixi Carnival” is about to kick off. The Tainan City Government’s Cultural Affairs Bureau, in collaboration with district offices and local cultural history groups, has planned 10 “Cultural Walks” rich in local cultural characteristics. These invite the public to savor local delicacies and experience creative culture, to “fall in love” with this beautiful city and “find happiness” in Tainan.

This year, the Cultural Affairs Bureau has specially partnered with 10 local organizations, including the North District Office, to plan the “Meet Happiness – Cultural Walk” mini-travel activities from a local perspective, allowing participants to deeply experience Tainan’s diverse local features.

The North District Office has planned the “Moon God Harmony Line,”guiding the public to visit Tainan’s famous “Four Great Moon Gods.” The event also includes fun activities and gives out exquisite gifts such as “A Century of Harmony Love Powder.”

The West Central District Office, in line with the Qixi Carnival installation art exhibition, has planned the “Love Love Tainan – Rickshaw %s Happiness Little Magpie Luck,”where participants ride rickshaws to visit five romantic art installations around the ancient city, experiencing the charm of the love-filled ancient capital.

The Anping District Office’s “Romantic Anping Line”allows visitors to feel love stories that have lasted centuries through sea breezes, deities, and historic streets.

The Tsengwen Community University’s “Love Wish Journey”outlines a love trip with local historical features, drawing from a century-old temple and the bustling history of Madou’s development.

The Phoenix City Cultural History Association’s “Tainan Literary Youth Line”explores Qixi traditional culture and old trades in the West Central District, experiencing the beauty of local culture.

The Tainan Tourist Development Association’s “Sugarcane Field Cultural Tour”takes a journey of love in Annan through local traditional deities and cuisine.

The Nan Ying Cultural Assets Preservation Association has planned the “Beautiful Moon Round Line,”offering a taste of traditional盐水 culture through the century-old charm of Moon Harbor.

Additionally, on the opening day, there will be an event providing a platform for micro-entrepreneurs, designers, or students to exchange, showcase, and market their work. Each carefully arranged booth uses themed goods to depict the sweet atmosphere of the Qixi Festival.

The “Meet Happiness – Cultural Walk” series of events will be held every Saturday and Sunday from August 2 to 31, with a total of 58 sessions across the 10 routes.
