The collaborative afternoon tea continues to be a hit. Taipei W Hotel has teamed up with the popular creative dessert shop YELLOW LEMON to launch the “Summer Citrus” afternoon tea at the 10th-floor the kitchen table Western restaurant. Paired with the restaurant’s bright yellow-and-white design and the concept of an open-air garden space, it creates a fun, outdoor picnic vibe for the peak of summer. The “Summer Citrus” afternoon tea set includes nine sweet and savory treats, two special refreshing iced teas, as well as unlimited coffee and tea. The price is NT$980 + 10% per person, or a discounted rate of NT$1,800 + 10% for two people.
The “Summer Citrus” afternoon tea set from YELLOW LEMON features desserts such as apple pie, Taiwanese handmade brown sugar brûlée, mini cocoa sparkle éclairs, mini Oreo charcoal biscuits, duck liver and hazelnut macarons, watermelon mousse popsicles, chocolate apples, Boston lobster salad, and a seasonal fresh vegetable flowerpot. It also comes with two special teas — apple cinnamon oolong tea and guava shiso plum tea. Among them, YELLOW LEMON’s signature “apple pie” is made by thinly slicing apples, candying them, then air-drying them for two days to create crispy fruit slices. These are layered with banana jam, sea salt, caramel, and popping candy. One bite releases a burst of rich fruity flavor along with the surprising pop of the candy — delicious and full of childlike delight.
