“You are my princess!” The latest hidden dating spot for Korean guys, “D’FIVE,” is located in Hongdae, Korea’s shopping paradise. Although it only opened in May this year, it has taken over Korean couples’ Instagram feeds in less than two months. The restaurant is tucked away in an alley near the famous Korean KTV “Show.” The second floor features an elegant, deep blue decor, while the third floor welcomes you with a luxurious, rose-pink princess-style ambiance. It’s not only a popular spot for many Korean couples but also a go-to fine-dining restaurant for food-loving sisters.

The must-order signature dish, “Dreamy Rose Pasta,” has a lovely pink hue that is sure to catch everyone’s eye as soon as it’s served. The rose color mainly comes from beetroot, and it’s paired with seafood such as shrimp, squid, and shellfish. Tossed with olive oil, it adds a fragrant aroma. The flavor is rich yet not greasy. Give it a gentle stir before eating to let the noodles soak up the sauce for the best taste.

Another highlight of the restaurant is its owner, La Ki Woong, who looks just like the tall, handsome oppa from Korean dramas. He says the design concept of the shop is to make every lady who visits feel like a princess. Since atmosphere is key for Korean couples on dates, special care has been put into both the decor and the menu. D’FIVE has now become a hot dating destination.
