Tigerair Taiwan officially obtained the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Civil Aeronautics Administration of the Ministry of Transportation on the 16th, becoming Taiwan’s first low-cost airline. As planned, it will launch its Taipei-Singapore route on September 26. Pre-launch booking registration has been opened, with popular tickets starting at NT$888. Successful applicants must complete payment on the official website by 9:00 PM on September 23. Following the Singapore route, Tigerair Taiwan has announced the addition of flights to Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
