Tianxianglou, a subsidiary of the Alto Group, today (28th) launched its sub-brand "Tianxianglou Mini," opening its first store in Taiwan at Breeze Songgao in Xinyi District. Xu Liping, General Manager of Alto Catering and Alto Group’s Corporate Management Office, said: "In response to the trend of younger, personalized dining, Alto Catering has launched Tianxianglou Mini, hoping to provide a relaxed, simple, and fast dining environment for young people and busy office workers, while still allowing them to enjoy authentic Hangzhou cuisine." Alto Catering currently operates three dining brands: Litz Square, Litz Palais, and Tianxianglou. With the opening of Tianxianglou Mini at Breeze Songgao, the brand has now reached 10 outlets, and this year Alto Catering's performance has already grown by over 30% compared to last year.

"Tianxianglou Mini" features one-sixth of the dishes from Tianxianglou, with an average per-person spending of around NT$300–400. It boasts a quick and convenient ordering process, with built-in charging ports for mobile devices at single-person seating. The menu includes a range of cold appetizers, as well as intricately prepared Hangzhou-style dishes such as smoked fish, soy sauce duck, and sweet-center smoked eggs. For main courses, options are divided into three categories: delicate dim sum, chef’s recommendations, and Suzhou-Hangzhou snacks. In addition to authentic Hangzhou flavors like Ningbo-style sliced noodles and shrimp-fried eel noodles, the menu also fuses Hangzhou dim sum techniques with Taiwanese tastes, featuring dishes like XO sauce beef noodles and braised pork meatballs. Signature dishes from Tianxianglou, such as Dongpo pork, are also available, along with the Tianxiang Round Cage, which lets diners sample three types of dim sum: vegetarian steamed dumplings, shrimp shumai, and xiaolongbao.
