Since the launch of V Air’s “Most Epic Maiden Flight – You Set the Price” online campaign on November 21, it quickly garnered over 200,000 participants within 10 days, achieving a first in Taiwan’s low-cost airline history where the inaugural flight discount price was determined by netizens. This resulted in an ultra-low fare of NT$520 (one-way, including fuel surcharge) for the inaugural flights to Bangkok and Chiang Mai.

V Air officially obtained its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) on November 27 and will begin official sales at 10:00 AM on the 3rd via its official website, offering 10,000 discounted “I Love You V Bear 520” tickets. Fans of V Air can scramble online to grab these deals and experience V Air’s brand-new services. The one-month window to snap up the 10,000 NT$520 discounted tickets opens at 10:00 AM on December 3 and ends at 11:59 PM on December 4, or until tickets run out.

The discounted tickets are valid for travel from the inaugural date through the end of May 2015, with a limited number of “I Love You V Bear 520” tickets available on various flights during that period. Fans are reminded to prepare their planned itinerary, passport in English, full name, date of birth, passport details, contact number, email address, and credit card information in advance to speed up the booking process and avoid missing out.

The maiden flight from Taipei to Bangkok will officially depart on the 17th; and Chiang Mai flights will commence on January 7, 2015, operated by the stylish V Bear Airbus A321, featuring 194 all-economy class seats.
