A romantic date spot for couples — The Izu Lover's Cape "Bell of Love" rings three times to seal love

When it comes to Lover's Cape, many people think of Guam. But in Japan, there is also a“Lover's Cape Nature Park”. Just a short walk along the entrance path leads you to the “Bell of Love” and the “Bell of Gold,” where couples can ring the bell three times to witness their love. In addition, from the observation deck of the Bell of Love, you can enjoy a distant view of Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay, making the reputation of the “Shizuoka Lover's Cape” increasingly well-known!

Upon entering Izu Lover's Cape Park, you'll find an entrance wall known as the “Lover’s Knot,” where couples can write down their love promises and tie them up to make their wishes come true. Walking further along the path, you'll find signs leading to the “Bell of Love” and the “Bell of Gold.” However, the Bell of Gold is currently under renovation and is expected to reopen next year!

The endpoint of the park is the Lover's Cape Sea View Observation Deck with the “Bell of Love.” This 2.5-meter-tall Bell of Love is said to have a “three-ring vow”: one ring calms the heart, two rings call out the heart of love, and three consecutive rings seal a sacred vow between partners. Moreover, from the observation deck, you can see a view of Mount Fuji, attracting many young couples and spouses to come and witness their “vows of love.”
