Selected from nearly 300 cabin crew members, the six calendar ambassadors have an average height of 166 cm. Their service tenure ranges from over eight years to less than one year, with five of them being first-time participants in the corporate calendar shoot. They were chosen for their “smiles that embody the China Airlines spirit.”
When the six ambassadors stood in a row, many bore striking resemblances to celebrities and models, adding a touch of star power to the corporate calendar. The January–February ambassador, dubbed “Little Chen Qiaoen,” is also the lead in this year’s corporate TV commercial “Opening a Window for Your Dreams,” reigniting familiarity with the company’s promotional videos. The March–April ambassador resembles “Little Diana Dai,” while the May–June ambassador is “Little Tracy Chou,” who not only participated in the 2013 calendar shoot but is also one of the current mannequin flight attendants used by the company. She has frequently served as the model for promotional photos and is one of the most recognizable smiles among China Airlines passengers. The July–August ambassador sports a healthy and lively look reminiscent of model “Chocolate,” the September–October ambassador is “Little Kate Chen,” and the November–December ambassador bears a strong resemblance to Japanese actress Takako Matsu.

To present a richer image, in addition to wearing the company uniform, the ambassadors also donned casual outfits to reflect the changing seasons. The July–August ambassador even repeatedly jumped in the studio for half an hour to capture the dynamic look of her ponytail flying as she wore sportswear. The six participating ambassadors unanimously agreed that providing in-flight services to passengers is much easier than having their photos taken.
