Hong Kong Harbour City’s Christmas Star City Shines Bright, Lighting Up Hope for Leukemia Patients

The festive fundraising event jointly organized by Hong Kong Harbour City and the Hong Kong Leukaemia Foundation“Christmas Railway Station”has made a lively debut this year, featuring the design theme of Shaun the Sheep, the beloved British animated character. Large-scale Christmas decorations have been set up on the ground floor of Gateway Arcade and the ground floor of Ocean Terminal, alongside the launch of a limited-edition 2015 charity calendar. In addition to immersing visitors in a rich Christmas atmosphere, the event also delivers a heartwarming message of care to those in need.

This year, Harbour City takes“Christmas Star City”as its theme, transforming the outdoor plaza of Ocean Terminal in Harbour City into a Christmas railway station dominated by red, white, and gold hues from now until January 4, 2015. The station features a 30-meter-long “Christmas train” covered in stars. The giant steam locomotive’s chimney emits countless stars, and when night falls, the lights create a romantic ambiance.
Additionally, the outdoor plaza of Ocean Terminal in Harbour City will stage Hong Kong’s first locally produced Christmas musical theater performance,“Christmas Star City,”offering the public a heartwarming and romantic holiday experience. From December 1, 2014, to January 4, 2015, customers who spend a specified amount at any restaurant or shop in Harbour City using a credit card or EPS can exchange their receipts, along with the same-day printed transaction slip and electronic payment voucher, for over 30 different types of cash vouchers or surprise gifts. Customers can also redeem special offers with their Christmas train tickets, with a chance to win grand Christmas prizes!
