According to the UK Press AssociationCaters Newsreport, located in Shimley, UK,The Crooked Houseis a truly slanted bar. From the door to the entire building, everything leans to the right.
Built originally as a farmhouse in 1765, over the decades mining caused the building to sink by 4 inches, resulting in its current tilted appearance. Many foreign tourists find it hard to believe and assume the house was designed to be crooked on purpose.
